Joel Bach is the Founder and Executive Director of The YEARS Project, the premiere digital media organization for the climate movement. He oversees the creative direction of the organization, manages the executive team, sets strategy and leads fundraising efforts. He is also the Executive Director and Publisher of INSIDE THE MOVEMENT, the weekly action toolkit for the climate movement.

Joel was the creator and series director of YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY, the Emmy Award winning TV series on climate change. The series was executive produced by James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger and the late Jerry Weintraub and featured an ensemble cast of A-list celebrities and journalists who traveled the globe to tell the story of climate change. The Daily Koz described YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY as: “The most important television series ever.”

Additionally, Joel has overseen the production of hundreds of short-form climate videos. Those videos have garnered over ONE BILLION views online. The YEARS Project has worked with more than a thousand individuals in the climate space and has produced digital content for practically every well-known climate organization.
